Objective

Rwanda Greenhouse Gas Activity Data Platform is a data collection tool managed by Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA), with the purpose of supporting the development of a national greenhouse gas inventory. The tool helps collect robust activity data and archive it to meet the reporting requirements under the Enhanced Transparency Framework of the Paris Agreement.

Role

• Collect activity data while tracking data sources and uncertainties
• Facilitate comparisons of activity data and perform time series analysis
• Support the validation process of activity data
• Generate data inputs in CSV format for GHG emission estimation software
• Assist in selecting optimal strategies to address data gaps
